The Guitar Hero SG Controller[1] is the first iteration of guitar controllers of the Guitar Hero series packaged with the PlayStation 2 version of Guitar Hero, Guitar Hero II, as well as the PlayStation 2 version of Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock exclusively from Target. It is much smaller than its Xbox 360 counterpart, the Guitar Hero X-Plorer Controller used in the Xbox 360 version of Guitar Hero II.
Also available for a limited amount of time was a Guitar Hero III ROE Bundle for PlayStation 2 from RedOctane’s online store that included two Guitar Hero SG Controller controllers, one with a light wood theme and one with a dark wood theme on the body.[2]
